 A video clip of a person assaulting a child and forcing him to work sparked an uproar in Egypt and angered the pioneers of social networking sites.

The video circulating on social networking sites showed a man in the Assiut governorate in Egypt torturing a child harshly and forcing him to work at night and exerting a great effort that exceeded his energy.

The child pleaded with the man, saying: "The Qur'an is on my shoulder and it hurts me... Prophet, Uncle Khalifa, I am not able to remove, Uncle Khalifa."

And it turned out that there are two brothers forcing a group of children from the governorates of Assiut and Sohag in southern Egypt to work, and exploiting them to collect agricultural crops for simple wages in the Owainat area of ​​the New Valley, according to the publisher of the video, who accused the man of human trafficking, insult, slander and insult, commenting: “They torture and exploit children in Collecting the bean crop in the East Owainat area and not giving them any money.”

The tweeters called on the responsible authorities in the state, the Child Protection Agency and the National Council for Childhood to investigate the incident, hold the two brothers accountable and bring them to trial.

The video included an attempt by one of the brothers to torture one of the children and not heeding his pleas, amid the child's screaming, "I can't!"
