Do the corrosion problems that caused the temporary shutdown of five nuclear reactors – out of the 56 that total French power plants – worry you?

So perhaps a guided tour presenting, among other things, the security measures to which the nuclear fleet is subject will reassure you...

Alexandra, who manages a department of 140 employees, presents her daily routine as follows: “I have to check the state of the installations and the cleanliness of the reactor building, check the teams working on the vessel to prevent a breakdown, etc.

And to access the “sensitive” sectors for which she is responsible, she must submit to very rigorous contamination controls.

“Less dirty” energy

For Alexandra, who is one of (only) 20% of women working in the sector, nuclear energy “is a good thing since it does not emit greenhouse gases, it allows us to limit global warming”.
