This is the first high-speed train to depart from Shenzhen Station, a century-old station during the Spring Festival in 2022. The Ganzhou-Shenzhen section of the Beijing-Hong Kong high-speed railway (referred to as: Ganshen high-speed railway), which opened on December 10, 2021, also ushered in the first show of the Spring Festival.
According to the Shenzhen Railway Department, this year is the first show of the Spring Festival transportation after the century-old Shenzhen Station has entered the era of high-speed rail, and it is also the first show of the Spring Festival transportation of the Gan-Shenzhen high-speed railway. Combined with the needs of epidemic prevention and control and the pre-sale of tickets, the Shenzhen Station before the festival will be held every day. There are 120.5 pairs of trains planned to operate, including 18 pairs of Ganshen high-speed railways, and 132.5 trains are planned to operate every day at Shenzhen Station after the festival.
During the Spring Festival travel period, Shenzhen North Railway Station plans to operate 285 pairs of starting trains every day, an increase of 24 pairs year-on-year, and 114.5 pairs of transit trains, including 43 pairs of Ganshen high-speed rail.
