Hyogo Prefecture announced on the 17th that it was confirmed that 683 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
On the other hand, Hyogo Prefecture, Himeji City, and Nishinomiya City have withdrawn the four people announced on the 15th and 16th of this month because they were counted in duplicate.
This brings the total number of infected people in Hyogo Prefecture to 85,535.
Amagasaki City also announced that an infected man in his 80s had died.
So far, 1399 people have died of infection in the prefecture.
