The reporter learned from the Horgos Metering Station of the Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline on January 16 that the Spring Festival is approaching, and the Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline currently delivers 120 million cubic meters of gas to China every day, effectively ensuring the demand for gas during the festival.
The first station of Khorgos gas compression is the first station of China's Central Asian natural gas entering China, and it is also the common "leading station" of the second and third lines of China's West-East Gas Pipeline and the "heart" of the entire line.
The operating personnel adhere to the "3+1+ special" inspection mode, climb high and low every day, shuttle among various equipment, check each point one by one, record various data parameters in detail, and organize and report in time to ensure the normal operation of natural gas. run.
The Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline is China's first cross-border energy channel of natural gas introduced by land. It starts from the border of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in the west, passes through central Uzbekistan and southern Kazakhstan, enters through the Horgos port in Xinjiang, China, and passes through Horgos. The compressor station is connected to the second and third lines of the domestic West-East Gas Pipeline.
According to the data of the first station of Khorgos compression, in 2021, the Central Asian natural gas pipeline will transport a total of 44.1 billion cubic meters of gas to China.
Since it was put into operation in December 2009, as of December 31, 2021, the Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline has delivered a cumulative gas volume of 380 billion cubic meters, with safe operation for 4,414 days.
It has benefited more than 500 million people in 27 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government, autonomous regions and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
