Hyogo Prefecture announced on the 16th that it has been newly confirmed that 1343 people in the prefecture are infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of infected people in the prefecture for one day reached a record high for two consecutive days following the 15th.
A total of 84,856 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
