This is the first village I have been to in the three years since I came to China.

When I came here, I was amazed by everything here. In my opinion, it is developing very well. It is not like a village in the traditional sense, but a city.

[Explanation] Recently, international students from the School of International Education, Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, went to Liujiabao Village, Xiaodian District, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, to visit the village's agricultural facilities, try on traditional Chinese costumes, learn pottery, lacquer art, experience lion dance, Intangible cultural heritage techniques such as drum music and fire therapy.

Liujiabao Village is about 30 kilometers away from Taiyuan City.

In recent years, the village has dig deep into farming culture and folk culture, and more than 50 intangible cultural heritage project courtyards are scattered in the village, which left a deep impression on Pakistani student Wang Shoufu.

Perhaps because it is very close to Taiyuan (the urban area), the village is well developed.

In addition to this, the facilities here are also attractive, such as electricity, roads, infrastructure, etc.

In addition, everything displayed here is free to visit.

It was my first visit to the countryside in China and it was unforgettable.

So after the epidemic I will visit more cities and villages in China.

[Commentary] Another international student, Da Hei, is from rural Pakistan. He is very interested in the facility agriculture in Liujiapu Village.

Here, he discovers rural life that is different from his hometown.

Now let me talk about the difference between rural Pakistan and rural China.

In Pakistan, 90% of the farmers living in the village are engaged in agricultural production, but in China, only 70-80% of the people are engaged in agricultural production, and the remaining 20-30% of the people are engaged in business outside, such as vinegar business, etc. .

Most of the Chinese grow tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, garlic, rice, and corn, and China's corn is grown on a large scale.

But in Pakistan, most crops are rice, sugarcane, wheat, cotton, which are the main crops in Pakistan.

[Explanation] In the future, international students hope to go to more rural areas in China to experience and understand the customs of China.

As messengers of international cultural exchanges, they hope that China and Pakistan can continue to deepen cooperation and help Pakistani farmers increase their income.

I would like to visit more rural areas in China.

Because there are different crop seeds in China, China uses hybrid seeds, which is why the yield per mu is higher than in Pakistan.

So I'm thinking if we bring in seeds of different fruits and vegetables and other crops, if we bring those seeds into Pakistan.

In this way, people in Pakistan can increase their yields, their lives will be better, and they can earn more money.
