The Sichuan Expressway Public Security Team reported that at about 21:10 on the 15th, the license plate was Ning AJ33** heavy-duty semi-trailer tractor towing the Ning AFC02 registered vehicle (dangerous chemicals transport vehicle, and the loaded cargo was initially verified as diesel), driving To the 1718-kilometer section of the Beijing-Kunming Expressway (from Mianyang to Chengdu, within Deyang), there was a rear-end traffic accident with a registered Sichuan B6693 truck (loaded with sand and gravel) pulled by a heavy-duty semi-trailer tractor with the license plate of Sichuan B760**. , causing the Ning AJ33**/Ning AFC02 trailer to catch fire, 2 people were killed, and the Sichuan B760**/Chuan B6693 registered vehicle had no casualties in a road traffic accident.
After the accident, the relevant departments of Sichuan Province and Deyang City, including public security, emergency response, firefighting, and sanitation, rushed to the scene immediately.
At present, the scene of the accident has been dealt with, and the work related to the cause of the accident is proceeding in an orderly manner.
