"Fashion Week" in Paris is my presence despite "Omicron"

Despite ongoing health restrictions and the prevailing uncertainty, participants at Paris Fashion Week chose mainly to present their shows in person, with live broadcasts or digitally attached shows.

Pascal Morin of the Union of Haute Couture and Fashion said that the Paris Fashion Week, which begins tomorrow, "fits well in the current context."

About 30 brands, including Courage and Issey Miyake, plan to run "realistic" shows, but in a less formal style than the traditional fashion shows, to which journalists and buyers are invited.

Of the 76 houses registered in the official schedule of men's ready-to-wear shows, 17 attended shows, compared to six last June, although the epidemiological situation was more comfortable at the time.

Among these roles are "Dior", "Hermes", "Rick Owens", and "Y/Project".
