Moroccan police in the state of Agadir security arrested a 31-year-old man for his involvement in the premeditated murder and attempted premeditated murder of two foreign women in Tiznit and Agadir.
"Hespress" quoted the General Directorate of National Security that the suspect was spotted by the camera of a commercial store in the municipal market in Tiznit, as he was subjecting a foreign citizen to physical assault leading to death with a white weapon, before fleeing and being arrested in Agadir after he tried to commit physical attacks against customers of a cafe in the coastal strip. Among them is a victim of Belgian nationality who was taken to hospital to receive the necessary treatments.
The same source added that the verification procedures revealed that the suspect had previously been admitted to the psychiatric ward of Hassan I Hospital in Tiznit, for a period of one month, starting from September 25 to October 25, 2021, according to a harnessing order issued by the local authority.
The report concluded that the suspect was kept in order to reveal the real circumstances, motives and backgrounds that were behind the commission of these criminal acts.
