Iwate Prefecture announced on the 15th that it was confirmed that 23 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
Following the 14th, 20 people were confirmed to be infected.
The announcement of confirmation of newly infected persons is for 15 consecutive days.
The cumulative number of infected people in the prefecture is 3,600.
