Kyoto Prefecture and Kyoto City announced on the 13th that it was confirmed that 566 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
This is the third highest number ever since September 1st last year, with more than 500 people.
The total number of infected people in Kyoto Prefecture is 38,267.
There were no announcements of people who died of infection.
