Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 13th that it was confirmed that 699 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The infection is spreading rapidly, about 1.7 times as much as on the 12th.
The number of infected people in the prefecture per day has exceeded 600 since September 4, last year.
The breakdown is 395 in Fukuoka City, 144 in Kitakyushu City, and 26 in Kurume City.
Meanwhile, a total of three people announced as infected on the 10th and 12th of this month have been withdrawn.
A total of 77,008 people have been confirmed infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
