In the early morning of January 7, 68-year-old Ms. Xu went to Wuhan Asia Heart Hospital for medical treatment accompanied by her husband due to chest pain and discomfort.

As soon as she walked to the parking lot of the hospital, Ms. Xu suddenly fainted and fell to the ground, with a sudden cardiac arrest.

  At the critical moment, Dr. Xia Zhao of the Cardiac Emergency and Critical Care Center (CCU) who came to work the night shift happened to pass by.
