She described them as “killers.” The Egyptian Medical Syndicate responds to Wael El-Ibrashi’s widow

The Egyptian Medical Syndicate condemned the statements of the widow of the late media, Wael El-Ibrashi, after she said that her husband died due to a medical error, not because of the Corona virus.

The union said in a statement that it "condemns and rejects that one of the means of unloading shipments of anger and sadness is the attack and attack on Egypt's doctors."

The Egyptian Medical Syndicate demanded an investigation into the statements of El-Ibrashi's widow by the Public Prosecutor, pointing out that the statements contained insulting and slanderous words against Egypt's doctors after she described them as "murderers."

The statement stated: "The Egyptian Medical Syndicate confirms its rejection and condemnation of the statements made by the widow of the late journalist Wael El-Ibrashi through various media outlets, those statements that carried explicit accusations without any evidence for one of the doctors and the claim that a medical error had occurred that was the cause of the death of the deceased, without any legal basis or medical proof to prove On the validity of her claim, despite the fact that more than a year has passed since the mistake that the widow of the deceased attributed to a doctor.

Al-Ibrashi's widow's statements to the newspaper "Al-Watan" came hours after the departure of the prominent Egyptian journalist, who died, on Sunday, at the age of 59, after a long journey from being infected with the Corona virus that exceeded a year.

Al-Ibrashi has been absent from the media scene, since his injury, and returned to his home to complete treatment last March, after three months of treatment in the hospital, but he continued to be treated until he died on Sunday evening.
