A man brutally slaughters his octogenarian father for wanting to marry again

An incident described as 'horrific' by the Indian press took place in Rajurunagar last Thursday night, in which a 47-year-old man brutally murdered his 80-year-old father when he learned that he had registered with the marriage office with the intention of remarrying.

After committing the crime, the accused, Shekhar Borhad, walked to Rajuru Police Station to surrender and confess his crime.

According to his "India" website, Shekhar admitted during his interrogation that he lost his temper after learning that his father wanted to marry again, and he paid money in preparation for it, which made him angry, and brutally murdered his father.

The accused confessed to his crime, saying that he first attacked his father with a knife to cut his neck, then he obtained a stone grinding spices and smashed his father's head by repeatedly beating him violently until his father died.

Later, he tried to cut off his father's head with a kitchen knife.
