On the same day, the People's Court of Chengyang District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province made a first-instance judgment on the dispute over the right to life between the plaintiff Jiang Ge's mother Jiang Qiulian and the defendant Liu Nuanxi (formerly Liu Xin), and ordered the defendant Liu Nuanxi to compensate the plaintiff Jiang Qiulian for various economic losses of 496,000 yuan. RMB and 200,000 RMB of consolation money for mental damage, and bear all case acceptance fees.
After the verdict, Jiang Qiulian said that the legal determination was within her expectations and she respected the court's decision.
