On the evening of the 8th, the Suqian Suyu police issued a notice that after 13 days of continuous search and rescue, Lin Mouheng's body was salvaged ashore in the waters near the Suqian Bridge, which is consistent with drowning before his death, and homicide is ruled out.

  According to the report, at about 8 o'clock on December 27, 2021, the Suyu police received an alarm that "Lin Mouheng in Suyu District lost contact at the Suqian Bridge of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal".

After investigation, at 3 am on the 27th, Lin Mouheng climbed over the guardrail on the north side of the bridge and fell into the river.

In the past few days, the police organized all forces to go all out to carry out search and rescue work.

  At about 14:00 on January 8, 2022, searchers found a body in the waters near the Suqian Bridge. After salvaging it ashore, it was confirmed that it was Lin Mouheng, the missing person.

After a comprehensive investigation and visit, on-site investigation and forensic examination, the deceased Lin Mouheng was found to have died by drowning before his death, and homicide was ruled out.
