According to the website of the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Zhang Youxi, the former Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Datong Coal Mining Group Co., Ltd., is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.

Zhang Youxi, male, Han nationality, born in December 1956, from Yuanping, Shanxi Province, with an on-the-job postgraduate degree, joined the Communist Party of China in June 1984 and started working in March 1976.
He successively served as director and deputy general manager of Datong Coal Mining Group Co., Ltd., member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, director, executive deputy general manager, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, vice chairman, general manager, secretary of the Party Committee, chairman of the board; counselor of the Shanxi Provincial People's Government.
Retired in January 2020.
