This afternoon (January 7), Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control to introduce the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control.
Since December 20, 2021, the Xi'an Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters has continuously issued notices on nucleic acid screening, requiring all personnel living in Xi'an to take the initiative to participate in nucleic acid testing.
Recently, the disease control department found that among the existing confirmed cases in Xi'an, 11 people did not participate in nucleic acid testing as required by the notice between December 23, 2021 and January 2, 2022. According to relevant laws and regulations such as the Prevention and Control Law, the Public Security Administration Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, investigations have been carried out on the above-mentioned persons in accordance with the law.
