The Devil In The White City
.
According to Deadline, this series will mark the Matrix

The rights to this story were first purchased by Leonardo DiCaprio in 2010 with the idea of making a film directed by Martin Scorsese.
It wasn't until then, in 2019, that Hulu announced production of a big-budget series produced by the

In addition, the production will be provided by Todd Field, at least for the first two episodes.
A dark story
The Devil In The White City
looks back at the true story of an architect and a serial killer whose paths crossed at the World's Fair in Chicago in 1893. Daniel H. Burnham was a brilliant architect seeking to leave a mark in history, while Henry H. Holmes was a fake doctor who opened a hotel during the event with the aim of turning it into a "murder palace" in which he tortured and murdered dozens , even hundreds of women.
We do not yet know what role Keanu Reeves wants to play in this series which promises to be rather dark.
