The arrest of a cafe worker involved in abortion cases in Morocco

Moroccan security authorities have arrested a young man who works as a waiter in a café in the center of the city of Khouribga, for his involvement in abortion cases, and his trafficking in medical pills used to abort fetuses.

Security sources told Hespress online newspaper that the case erupted when a young woman went to a local hospital, due to severe pains she felt in her womb after taking medical pills, and she was pregnant and required medical examinations, the results of which were suspicious.

The same sources added that the security services entered the line, to confirm the young woman that she had bought abortion pills from a café waiter, which prompted the security forces to move to his place of work and stop him by order of the Public Prosecution, for fear that he would sell these pills that might result in fatal health risks.

It is noteworthy that the Public Prosecution of the Court of Appeal ordered the young man to be placed under theoretical guard measures, and the young woman to be placed under observation due to her health condition and the necessity of her presence in the hospital, in the horizon of their follow-up, each according to what is attributed to him.
