During the day, the ski slopes are invaded by holidaymakers.

At night, they are crossed by discreet processions: volunteers indeed organize marauding to help migrants who, passing through passes without equipment - and in negative temperatures -, rally France from Italy.

Juliette, member of the Tous Migrants association, testifies to the difficulty of her “mission”: “We sometimes stay in the mountains until 4 am, or even more;

but it is important because the police presence pushes the migrants to cross higher and higher, therefore to put themselves more and more in danger.

"

An “absurd” cat and mouse game

"It is perfectly legal as long as we stay on the French side, that we do not cross the border to go and look for the exiles", she specifies.

His colleague Baptiste, for his part, deplores that their action “turns into a game of cat and mouse;

it's absurd ".
