According to Gunma Prefecture, the man lived outside the prefecture and had symptoms while returning home in the prefecture in late December, so when he visited a medical institution, he was found to be infected with the new corona and was confirmed to be an Omicron strain on the 7th.



Currently, he has no symptoms and is hospitalized at a medical institution in the prefecture.



On the other hand, two male families living in the prefecture are negative.



The man has no recent history of staying abroad, and the prefecture is believed to have been infected in the city outside the prefecture.



As a result, a total of four people have been confirmed to be infected with the Omicron strain in the prefecture.
