Egypt..a school agent publishes photos of her dancing in solidarity with Mansoura's teacher: "Personal freedom"

In solidarity with the Mansoura teacher, whose story occupied the Egyptian street during the past two days, due to a dance video, which caused her to be referred for investigation and dismissed from her work, a school agent in Egypt published pictures of her dancing during her daughter's wedding, which took place two years ago.

Teacher Howaida Farid, on her Facebook account, published pictures of her dancing during her daughter's wedding, confirming her support for teacher Aya Wassef, and in defense of personal freedom outside the school walls, stressing that the teacher's actions outside the working hours have nothing to do with his profession.

And the pioneers of the communication sites in Egypt circulated the post of the agent, in which she said: “I am a school agent and I danced on the day of my daughter’s joy with disobedience, and when I met them, they turned the teacher who took a trip and danced to investigate.

She added, "The ministry's oversight role over the teacher or the employee in general ends at the institution's external gate... unless he is on an official mission related to work and represents the institution or organization to which he is affiliated with an external representation. But if the event concerns its owner and concerns his private life, no one has authority over it."

She continued, referring to the Mansoura teacher, "She did not dance in the classroom, in the schoolyard, or even on a trip in which there are students. These are people who are looking forward to calm and rejoice with utmost safety, and you do not know that there is a traitor among them who depicts them in wickedness."

Some of the pioneers of the communication sites praised what the agent had done, while others attacked her and criticized her harshly.

Howaida said in statements to Al Arabiya.net that she freely expressed her opinion, and said that what happened constitutes a violation of personal freedom, considering that it would have been more appropriate to hold the video footage without permission and to broadcast it on the communication sites.

She explained that she did not announce her solidarity - as the communication sites promoted - for the teacher's dance, but rather condemned her and the movements she made, but she defended her personal freedom and her privacy that was violated, which caused her harm and destruction of her future and her private life.

She believed that if the video or the dance incident had been committed by another group in society other than the teachers, all that fuss would not have been raised.

The teacher's dancing video spread like wildfire on the communication sites, which caused a referral. The teacher, Aya, who received the title of ideal teacher, was referred to the prosecution.

And the "Mansoura teacher" confirmed that she did not know that she was being filmed during the party, accusing the video publisher of defaming her and her reputation and threatening to sue everyone who harmed her and destroyed her life.
