A person named Muhammad Al-Fatehi recounted the details of losing “one of his eyes” at the hands of a doctor who blinded 6 people, in Qassim and is still practicing his profession until now.

One of the victims, speaking to the Ya Hala program, said that he went to the doctor at first, and told him that he had cataracts on the eye, and he continued to follow up with him until he was informed that he needed an operation.

He added that he had performed the operation and it succeeded, but the vision was not good, and he informed the doctor about this and told him that these symptoms would go away after a while, and indeed they disappeared after 10 days, but a cloud appeared in the eye again.

Muhammad Al-Fatehi continued: “I told the doctor about the blurring, and he told me that he would perform a laser operation to remove it, and days passed and he did not perform the operation, and when I asked him, he said that the lens is not adjusted, and he cannot do the laser,” according to Al-Marsad newspaper.

He continued, "Every time I go to the doctor, he tells me that he has inflammation and others, and my eyesight kept coming down, and I decided to move to another consultant and he told me that I need a corneal transplant, because the eye has a problem."

And he concluded: "Now, I can't see at all, and when I asked the consultant, is this a medical error?, he told me what I can say, but the cornea of the eye had water," stressing that the sentences issued do not compensate him for his loss of sight.
