Events in Kazakhstan have shaken up the information space, half asleep after the New Year holidays.

And not only because the situation began to develop rapidly and according to a scenario well known to us, but also because for three years now it was quite an expected phenomenon.

Yes, Kazakhstan, against the background of everything that at different times shook certain parts of the former post-Soviet space, looked like an island of unshakable stability, in which the Ukrainian scenario seemed almost impossible.

But at some point, Nazarbayev decided to build a "nation state" in Kazakhstan, having made the biggest mistake in his career, the bitter fruits of which we are seeing right now in real time.

I will not now list all the strategic disadvantages of flirting with nationalists, which in the long term will certainly go sideways for those who decide to rely on nationalist forces and slogans.

A good example of Ukraine and the balancing of Belarus at the dangerous line in the summer of 2020 are still the subject of study and controversy not only among political scientists, but also among ordinary people.

So Kazakhstan has become another confirmation of this dogma, despite the fact that it was repeatedly warned about the possible consequences.

Have not heard.

Didn't draw conclusions from other people's experience.

They preferred to get their own rake, at the same time being completely unprepared for a lightning-fast and decisive reaction to an attempted coup.

Dangerous arrogance and belief in self-deception under the slogan "this will definitely not happen to me."

However, it happened.

And despite the fact that the country has long been "pregnant" with protests, the "birth" of the protest was rapid.

In just a few days, Kazakh protesters went through all the stages of transition from protests to pogroms and from peaceful demands to outright looting and terrorism.

But the worst thing is the stupor into which the authorities of Kazakhstan fell, who in one day leveled their reputation as wise and experienced leaders.

From the outside, it was reminiscent of a medical student with honors who fainted on his first appendicitis surgery.

And it is a great happiness that he had the wisdom not to run away from the operating room, as Yanukovych did in his time, but to turn to colleagues for help.

So that they help "cut to hell without waiting for peritonitis."

Of course, such an act is commendable, but after everything settles down and the CSTO peacekeeping forces will help restore order, the Kazakh authorities will have to work on large-scale mistakes.

Otherwise, the threat of new "Maidans" will hang over their heads like a sword of Damocles.

And the point is not only that external forces are asleep and see how to crush Kazakhstan.

There are indeed a lot of problems inside the country, the sweeping of which under the rug led to the fact that people began to take to the streets.

However, without external influence, of course, it was also not done.

Literally overnight, it became obvious that support for the Kazakh "Maidan" is provided by everyone who sleeps and sees the transformation of the post-Soviet space into colonies under the control of Washington, Brussels or Ankara.

In the process of a desperate struggle "for our and your freedom", both old abscesses and relatively fresh neoplasms such as the pro-Polish NEXTA were revealed, which, having suffered a fiasco in organizing a coup in Belarus, directed all its unspent energy to "fraternal aid" to the Kazakhs.

Of course, all this does not happen out of the kindness of the soul.

The resources simply invested in NEXTA should pay off.

If not in Belarus, then at least in Kazakhstan.

But there is a nuance.

Counting on the fact that Tokayev is not Lukashenko, no one considered the option that Kazakhstan would request assistance from the CSTO and receive it promptly.

And while in the West they are picking the jaw off the floor, the peacekeeping contingent is already heading to where its help is now so needed.

In this connection, I would like to draw your attention to one important aspect.

For years Ukraine has been groaning for help from NATO, but in return it receives vague promises in exchange for fulfilling a number of humiliating conditions.

Less than a day after the official request, Kazakhstan received assistance from the CSTO.

Moreover, I would very much like to say hello to all those who regularly predict the entry of Russian troops into Belarus and Ukraine.

I think many of them are now sitting puzzled and cannot understand: what, it was also possible?

You can, bunnies, as much as possible.

And now there is no need to torment the unfortunate owl, trying to pull it on Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland and the Warsaw Pact.

Fortunately, we not only already know all your training manuals by heart, but also have our own for a long time.

In which are recorded your bombing of Yugoslavia, and the invasion of Iraq, and the "establishment of democracy" in Libya, and much more that still makes you shiver.

It is clear that the hegemon is now very offended that for consultations Tokayev called not the American embassy, but Moscow and Minsk.

For the second day, the ex-Ambassador McFaul makes the face of Pinocchio and asks: “But how is that?

Yes, we have been friends with Kazakhstan for 30 years, and they have not even remembered about us! "

But get used to it.

Moreover, you have already been hinted many times that the time of a unipolar world and your hegemony has passed with exclusivity.

And the quick (and most importantly - peaceful!) Resolution of the crisis in Kazakhstan will be another proof of this.

In this regard, one thing is required of you: step aside and observe.

And do not try to be rude on the eve of important negotiations on the topic of Ukraine and the non-expansion of NATO.

Otherwise, more surprises may await you.

But that's a completely different story.
