China News Service, Huzhou, January 6 (Shi Zinan, Xue Yaqian) 55 years are a long time for a person, and for a separated family, it is full of suffering and waiting.

The reporter learned on the 6th that Mr. Kong, who lives in Linqu County, Shandong Province, with the help of Nanxun police in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, finally found a relative who had been separated from him for more than half a century.

When Mr. Kong took his family from Shandong to Hefu Town in Nanxun District and saw his mother and other relatives who had been separated for 55 years, he couldn't help shed tears of happiness.

Since I can remember, Mr. Kong has been living in Linqu, and his adoptive parents regard him as their own, and his family has a happy life.

However, one day, he accidentally learned from his adoptive parents that he was not his own.

On May 18, 1966, his adoptive father adopted the staff of the Cleave Mountain Welfare Institute in Huzhou City and adopted him who was only 4 months old.

Faced with the true love of his adoptive parents, Mr. Kong let go of his roots.

In 2011, both of Mr. Kong's adoptive parents passed away, and his own children had their own families. The feeling of seeking roots and asking ancestors became more and more urgent.

So, he asked the public security department for help and circulated notices of seeking relatives, hoping to find relatives.

In early December 2021, Zhang Zhong, deputy director of the Criminal Division of the Nanxun District Public Security Bureau, found that Mr. Kong and Mr. Shi from Hefu Township were close relatives during daily inspections of the abduction DNA database.

After discovering the clue, Yao Xiaoliang, deputy director of the Nanxun District Public Security Bureau and Fu Police Station, immediately came to the door to collect blood samples from Mr. Shi and his mother Shi Daniang and others, and sent them for examination and review as soon as possible.

It turned out that in 1966, due to hardship in life, Shi Da Niang and his wife had to send their third son to the orphanage. A few months later, they learned that the child had been adopted.

As she got older, Aunt Shi missed the child who was sent away more and more, so she let her second son, Mr. Shi, go to Hefu police station to collect DNA with the attitude of giving it a try.

After careful verification and comparison, Nanxun police finally confirmed that Mr. Kong was indeed the third son adopted by Mrs. Shi Da Niang that year.

At the scene of acknowledgment, the hugs and tears that I did not want to let go of for a long time finally brought these 55 years of longing and waiting to a reunion.
