In Caracas, in December 2020, while Venezuela is still in quarantine, the ska group Desorden Publico made the buzz by giving a wild concert on a rooftop in Petare, a district of the Venezuelan capital.
Petare is considered the largest working-class district on the continent, a ghetto crowded with a million inhabitants, with all that implies of poverty, failure of public services and violence.
The musicians of Desorden Publico had been invited by a neighborhood association, an association that wants to change the reputation of Petare, known for his gangs and his misery.
Many of the Petareños want to restore the image of their area.
