Athar Al-Hakim confirms her retirement from art: devoting herself to worshiping God and thanking him for his blessing

The Egyptian actress, Athar Al-Hakim, 63, confirmed the circulating news, which sparked a wide wave of controversy about her retirement from art.

Athar Al-Hakim told "Cairo 24" that her retirement is correct, and that she devoted herself to the worship of God, 11 years ago, because this was the right time for her to become saturated with art.

She also believes that it is her duty to devote herself to worshiping God and thanking Him for the blessings He has provided her with, noting that she has started reading the Qur’an, and has also begun reading a book of interpretation of the Qur’an for children.

Despite her retirement from art since 2010, Athar Al-Hakim did not announce this publicly to the public, except finally, as she saw that she was artistically saturated through the works and roles that she presented in her artistic career, which lasted about 35 years, during which she presented many prominent works on the level of drama. and cinema.
