[Explanation] A 9-year-old wild Siberian tiger lives outside of China's Siberian Tiger and Leopard National Park.
It has "occupied the mountain as king" in Dunhua City, Jilin Province, south of Zhangguangcailing Mountain for nearly seven years, and is currently the only wild Siberian tiger that has been monitored by imaging in this area.
The rangers took it as a treasure and named it "Tiger Baby".
Today, the 9-year-old "tiger baby" is still single, which breaks the guardians' hearts.
On January 6, the reporter learned from the Changchun Regional Resident Working Group of the Beijing Representative Office of the World Wildlife Fund (Switzerland) that the construction of an ecological corridor for the "tiger baby" is a protection work to connect the habitat of the wild Siberian tiger, and it is also a help. "Tiger Baby" is an option to get out of the singles.

We hope that through the ecological corridor, the areas on both sides can be opened up, allowing more adequate exchanges between species. This is a meaning of the ecological corridor.
Whether it returns to the previous area through this corridor, or an area with more tigers, or other tigers spread to this area, it is what we want to see.
[Explanation] In the past few years, rangers have witnessed the growth of "Tiger Baby" through images captured by infrared cameras.
Liu Duo said that there are many roads, railways and many villages around the protected area where the "tiger baby" is located, which objectively caused the fragmentation of the wild Siberian tiger habitat, and the wild animal populations living in the patches of each habitat There are many difficulties in communication between.

(There are) two expressways, one is Heda and the other is Hunwu Expressway.
This approximate area is the area of the National Tiger and Leopard Park. This area is probably the area south of Zhangguangcai Mountain. We have identified some points of several ecological corridors. We hope that by including replanting (and other methods), This area becomes relatively closer to living and passing areas. After opening a few more, wild animals in other connected areas can use it to pass back and forth.
[Explanation] In fact, the rangers in the Siberian tiger habitat have worked hard enough. They have built a relatively safe living environment for the "tiger baby" and other wild animals by continuing to clear the mountains.
Artificially constructing ecological corridors and connecting habitats will not only benefit the "tiger babies", but will also benefit more wild Siberian tigers.
The Chinese Lunar Year of the Tiger is approaching. Liu Duo hopes that the "tiger baby" will be able to get rid of the order, and he also wishes the front-line staff who "communicate" with the wild Siberian tiger up close to the new year.

Under what kind of vegetation and what kind of habitat the wild animals are less susceptible to traffic, including trains, this is what we have been exploring.
This year is the year of the tiger in the lunar calendar. We hope that the "tiger baby" and other tigers can be safe and healthy in our Siberian tiger habitat. At the same time, we wish our frontline staff and hope that they can be safe in the wild in the new year.
