A mass in homage to Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff will be celebrated Monday at 3 p.m. in the Madeleine church in Paris, the family announced on Wednesday in a statement.

"Their burial will take place in strict privacy," adds the short text sent by the agent of the famous twins carried away by the Covid-19 six days apart.

According to Amélie de Bourbon-Parme, ex-wife of Igor Bogdanoff, "they fell ill a few days before their hospitalization on December 15".

"They couldn't be separated any longer"

“Things got worse.

It's fate.

They couldn't be separated any longer… They were surrounded by people in the hospital!

Until the end, they gave each other news a few rooms apart… ”, Amélie de Bourbon-Parme told BFMTV on Wednesday.

The ex-wife of Igor Bogdanoff, with whom she had two children, confirmed that the two brothers were not vaccinated.

“They didn't make it a political subject.

They weren't evangelizing anybody.

It was a personal decision linked to their phobia of doctors and drugs.

There is a link with the subject of death which was taboo for them and which fascinated them.

They didn't want to look at death and didn't want any connection with it, preferring to forget about it, ”she explained.

TV stars

“They were fascinated by science and discoveries.

We are never close to a contradiction… ”, estimated Amélie de Bourbon-Parme.

Igor Bogdanoff died Monday at the age of 72, less than a week after his brother Grichka.

The twins were television stars of the 1980s for having launched the first science fiction show in France, on TF1.
