Strawberry hunting began at a farm in Shima City, Mie Prefecture, and it was crowded with parents and children.

At the agricultural house of "JA Ise Nagasawa Farm" in Ago-cho, Shima City, large strawberries with a diameter of about 5 cm are cultivated.

Strawberry hunting began on the 5th at the farm, and parents and children who visited immediately picked up the red-colored strawberries and tasted them on the spot.

A woman who visited with her 4-year-old daughter from Ise City, Mie Prefecture, said, "I can't forget the deliciousness of the first time I ate it. It's fresh and very delicious."

Makoto Dooka of JA Ise Toba Shima Economic Center, who runs the farm, said, "We are cultivating strawberries to make them a local specialty while the number of farmers is decreasing. We want you to taste strawberries for 45 minutes as much as you want." I was talking.

Strawberry picking on the farm will continue until mid-May and advance reservations are required.
