The “The Most Beautiful Winter in the World” photography competition, organized by the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award, in cooperation with the Media Office of the UAE Government, and in conjunction with the “The Most Beautiful Winter in the World” campaign, recorded more than 1,000 entries from 77 nationalities in A photography competition aimed at capturing the most prominent components of the unified tourism identity of the UAE, shedding the lenses of amateur and professional photographers on the most beautiful natural, tourist, recreational and cultural landmarks of the UAE winter, and highlighting the exceptional diversity of its harmonious pluralistic society.

So far, the competition has received more than 221 creative photos in its nine themes, which include desert, sea, mountain, valleys, and the Emirates from above, within the “single photo” category, open to the general public, and the topics of the Emirates in your eyes, the Emirates wilderness, faces from the Emirates, and life The street from the Emirates, in the “Photo File” category for professional photographers.

So far, the topic “The Emirates in Your Eyes” topped the number of images received by the competition with 91 creative images, followed by the topic “Street Life from the Emirates” which recorded 77 creative images, then the topic “Wildness of the Emirates” which recorded 42 creative images, and “Faces from Emirates» who recorded 35 photos.

The participants were distributed among different age groups, topped by the age groups of 35 years and under, with 342 male and female participants, and the number of participants aged between 35 and 45 years reached 321.

The UAE topped the number of participants with 233 participants so far, followed by India with 182 participants, Iran with 55 participants, the Philippines with 48 participants, Pakistan with 36 participants, Egypt with 33 participants, Turkey and Indonesia with 29 participants each, Russia with 23 participants, and Italy with 12 participants.
