A former employee of the security company "ALSOK" was arrested by the Chiba Prefectural Police for stealing a total of about 100 million yen in cash during ATM maintenance.

In response to the investigation, he stated that he needed money to race the boat.

The person who was arrested was Keita Kadokawa (33), a former employee of the Sohgo Security Services Chiba branch office.

According to the police, it is suspected that he stole about 100 million yen in cash from ATMs such as six financial institutions in Chiba prefecture in October last year when he was working for a security company.

Former employee Kadokawa was doing the maintenance work of the ATM outsourced by a financial institution by himself, and the next month, when another employee inspected the ATM, he noticed that he was running out of cash. ..

An in-house investigation admitted that he had stolen cash during maintenance, and a police investigation also showed a former employee on a nearby security camera.

In response to the investigation, the police said that they needed money to race the boat, so the police decided to further investigate the work situation at that time.

Sohgo Security Services commented, "We sincerely apologize to all concerned. We would like to thoroughly educate our employees and strive to prevent recurrence."
