According to Aichi Prefecture, it has been confirmed that females in their teens to 40s living in the prefecture and males in their 20s living outside the prefecture are newly infected with the Omicron strain.
Of these, three were confirmed to have contact with a man in his fifties who was confirmed to be infected with the Omicron strain on the 3rd, while the other two were confirmed to have traveled abroad and have been infected so far. It means that no contact with the person has been confirmed.
The number of confirmed infections of Omicron strains in the prefecture has reached 32.
