Okinawa Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that 24 people are newly infected with the new mutant virus "Omicron strain" of the new corona.
Some of these people do not know the route of infection and are believed to have been infected in the city.
The prefecture has corrected that there was duplication in one infected person in the total so far, and the total number of people confirmed to be infected with the Omicron strain is 88.
