Osaka Prefecture "Omicron strain" confirmed to be infected by 6 people "It seems to be a community-acquired infection"

Osaka Prefecture has announced that it has been newly confirmed that six people in the prefecture are infected with the "Omicron strain".

Infection with the new mutant virus "Omicron strain" of the new corona was confirmed in 6 men and women from preschoolers to 50s.

According to the prefecture, three of them are close contacts of people who have been confirmed to be infected with the Omicron strain, and the other three are investigating the route of infection.

None of the six have traveled abroad and are believed to have been infected in the city.

A total of 71 people were confirmed to be infected with the Omicron strain in a survey conducted by Osaka Prefecture.
