Confessions of the hero of the video “Have mercy on me, Wael” reveal his relationship with the woman he hit!

According to "Al Arabiya Net", the accused confessed to assaulting the woman of Al-Warraq, the hero of the video "Have mercy on me, Wael", which ignited a wave of anger among the Egyptians on social media in front of the investigation authorities, regarding the validity of what was stated in the video clip spread on social media, pointing to his assault on Manar, his wife's sister. He beat her in order to pressure his wife to retract her divorce case against him.


In his statements to the investigations before the Al-Warraq Public Prosecution, Wael added that he attacked his sister-in-law for her knowledge of his wife's whereabouts, and he wanted to know where she had disappeared after filing a divorce suit against him, so Manar refused to help him.

By conducting investigations, it was found that the woman is the sister of the accused's wife, and that he beat her because he thought that she was the reason why her sister filed a divorce case against him, so he tried to take revenge on her.


The accused, called "Wael.N", wanted revenge against Ms. "Manar" and her sister, "Maha" for filing a divorce case after 8 years of marriage and after she gave birth to a 4-year-old child from him, which she did because of his mistreatment of her, and his being multiple marriages. She asked him for a divorce, but he refused, so she filed a divorce suit, and since then he threatens her and her family and continues to intimidate them.

And the security services of the Giza Security Directorate had monitored the circulation of social media activists “Facebook” a video that monitors a person assaulting a woman severely beating, slapping her in the face and insulting her with obscene words among passersby, and in front of her children in the Warraq area.
