The purpose of establishing the Red Memory Collection is to let everyone see, feel, and even touch those hard years.

[Explanation] Liu Yongpeng grew up in a multi-ethnic family, and his father loves red collection.

In memory, all the old objects in the family were collected by the old father, and a red mark was buried in his memory.

Returning to his father's collection, Liu Yongpeng began to travel north and south, enter the village and enter his homes, and make friends with collectors from all over the world. As long as there are clues about the collection, he will go immediately, and every time he gets an item, he will look up information and understand the historical story behind the collection.

In the process of collecting, he has a clearer understanding of the historical and cultural context of modern Chinese history, and he also deeply realized that the revolutionary cultural relics deposit a heavy historical culture, so as to pass on the revolutionary power he has drawn from generation to generation.

The most profound (collection) are many. One of them is a battle diary of the War to Resist U.S. Aid and Aid Korea. There was a very touching sentence on it. It said that I would rather die on a cruel and ruthless front than let my motherland and people suffer from fascism. The slavery was written in Bitong, North Korea on January 1, 1953.

[Explanation] In 2018, Liu Yongpeng built the Red Collection, which will open to the outside world in 2020. The exhibition will feature the Opium War, the War of Resistance against Japan, the War of Liberation, the War to Resist U.S. Aid Korea, and the reform and opening up.

Liu Yongpeng talked to reporters about the reasons for building the museum.

He said that the bravery, dedication, and self-sacrifice spirit of the older generation of revolutionary martyrs is moving.

These revolutionary spirits must not be lost and must be passed on from generation to generation.

Recall the history of the revolution, inherit the revolutionary spirit, and continue the red blood through these objects.

Later, we will continue to build the spirit of resistance to US aggression and aid to Korea, the spirit of the Long March, as well as Yan'an cave dwellings and Lugou Bridge, all of which are experiential. While visiting the Red Revolution cultural relics, you can also participate in the experience.
