This morning, the Saudi capital, Riyadh, witnessed the formation of thick fog, as high-rise towers embraced the Riyadh fog, while many citizens were active by sharing photos documenting these moments under the tag "Riyadh Fog".
A video clip documented the winter weather that the Saudi capital experienced during the past hours.
The video clip showed the disappearance of the tops of the towers under thick fog, and moving clouds.
And the National Center of Meteorology had said in its report on the weather in the Kingdom for today, that it will witness thunderstorms from medium to heavy, accompanied by active winds and showers of hail.
Fog will form in parts of the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Baha, Riyadh, Al-Qassim, and Al-Sharqiya, and thunderstorms accompanied by active winds are expected in parts of the regions of Asir, Jazan, Madinah, Hail, the northern borders and Al-Jawf.
