The famous Egyptian musician Helmy Bakr sparked a state of controversy, after statements he made about the crisis of the separation of the Egyptian artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, from the artist Hossam Habib, and the resulting repercussions and events that occupied the media.
Bakr said in a press conference, "Sherine Abdel Wahab did not divorce from Hossam Habib, but everything she did was part of the propaganda for her new songs, or, as it is said, part of the trend."
Bakr added, "Sherine is playing a double game in order to return to the scene, with evidence that she talked about Hussam Habib's depriving her of freezing her eggs. This is not correct to say."
Helmy Bakr considered that her appearance after shaving her hair was a desire to provoke controversy and lead the trend on social networking sites.
He stressed that "the incident of separation that Sherine Abdel Wahab talked about from Hossam Habib is not true, considering that it is part of the propaganda for her new album."
Sherine Abdel Wahab had announced her actual separation from singer Hossam Habib, early this month, in an official statement on her Facebook page, and said that the reasons for the separation concern her alone and that: "There is no need to go into the details of her personal life."
