How many times have they told some: "Fear your desires!"

Yes, just not for the future.

And now those who were so eager for changes in fraternal Belarus are receiving them in such huge portions that they do not have time to digest.

Yesterday, many of those who still cherish the dream that the same thing that happened in 2014 in Kiev will happen in Minsk, received a blow below the belt.

Namely: the draft amendments to the Constitution of Belarus were published, which will significantly affect the future life of our neighbors.

So, if the document is adopted, among other things, in the updated Belarusian Constitution, marriage will be officially defined as a union of a man and a woman.

You yourself understand that such formulations instantly become sour for everyone who is an ardent lobbyist for "European values" and other defenders of various kinds of minorities who, for some reason, firmly believe that the way to Europe lies through gay pride parades.

The point that the state ensures the preservation of the historical truth and memory of the heroic deed of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War is another hello. Those who regularly rewrite history in order to develop one conditioned reflex in all former citizens of the USSR: pay and repent. And also - to save us from the "complex" of the victorious people, whose grandfathers and great-grandfathers achieved the Victory with sweat and blood, the mere thought of which today leads some to a state close to hysterics.

Another noteworthy point is the article that citizens, “recognized by the court as legally incompetent, persons held by a court sentence in places of imprisonment” cannot be elected and voted. This is hello to all the failed “revolutionaries” who were actively working on the Polish-Lithuanian agenda in the summer of 2020 and were desperately trying to turn the Ukrainian scenario around. Many of them still dream of “the beautiful Belarus of the future”, but now all of them are not allowed to enter big politics. No, in exile, of course, they can call themselves anyone. The same Sveta Tikhanovskaya still continues her tour as a "president", but everyone understands perfectly well that there is zero sense from this venture. However, some European politicians, puffing their cheeks and making a serious face, strenuously pretend that everything is grown-up, however, judging by their sad eyes, this farce was pretty tired of everyone.

And one more greetings in addition to the previous one: a presidential candidate should not have (at the time of election or in the past) "citizenship of a foreign state or a residence permit or other document of a foreign state that gives the right to benefits and other benefits." Taking into account the fact that most of the Belarusian oppositionists have either a Pole's card or a passport of another foreign state hidden, their dreams of the presidency are covered with a bang with a bang.

A nice bonus: after the amendments are made, the president will be able to declare a state of emergency in the event of attempted riots, "mass and other" riots.

Personally, it is gratifying for me to read this, because I remember well how, during the well-known events in Ukraine, we expected, but did not wait for decisive actions from Yanukovych, which could in many ways change the course of events and prevent everything that came later.

The authorities of Belarus, on the other hand, have learned the mistakes of others and their experience well.

So the appearance of such an article can only be welcomed.

By the way, another innovation - the increased age limit for presidential candidates to 40 years old - takes away the bread from those conspiracy theorists who broadcast “on serious cabbage soup” that after Lukashenka leaves, his youngest son Nikolai will become the head of state.

Now let's move on to the most important thing.

In my opinion, these are two points.

The first moment: innovations prohibit the election of the head of state for more than two terms of five years each.

That is, in the coming years, Lukashenka is faced with the task of preparing the country for the transfer of power to the new president, which should take place normally and without upheavals.

And the means of ensuring this should be an important point number two: amendments have been prepared to the Constitution of Belarus that remove references to its nuclear-free and neutral status.

Let me remind you that the likelihood of the appearance of nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus was recently announced by Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei.

“We are considering the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus - this is one of the possible responses to future possible actions by the North Atlantic Alliance on the territory of Poland,” he said.

Now these words are being confirmed through amendments to the Constitution.

Of course, this has already provoked a howl in the swamps, but in this case, the main reason for such dramatic changes in the status of the country is precisely those who are now most indignant.

An even greater howl arose after reading the paragraph that "The All-Belarusian People's Assembly, at the suggestion of the President, makes a decision on the possibility of sending military personnel, employees of paramilitary organizations, and other persons outside the Republic of Belarus to participate in ensuring collective security and activities to maintain international peace and security." ...

Especially strong from this point were howled in Ukraine, which continues to tell everyone that Russia is about to attack it.

Now, the fear of seeing an armored personnel carrier on the streets of Kiev, which will be personally controlled by Lukashenko, has been added to the expectation of a tank under the control of Putin personally.

By the way, in some European capitals they suffer from the same phobias. Therefore, attacks of political panic attacks in high offices and on the pages of the media are now likely to become more frequent. But, excuse me, these are not our problems, and we are not doctors for you. Before you had to think. After all, big politics is the same chess, playing which you need to calculate the situation a few steps forward. But judging by the same Belarus, Western politicians are poorly trained in this skill. Therefore, now all they have to do is to express their dissatisfaction with the fact that Belarus has clearly shown that it is not Ukraine.

Of course, attempts to do nasty things will continue.

But after the adoption of the new Constitution, it will be much more difficult.

And this will be an excellent gift for Belarusians, who are also already tired of all these, albeit unsuccessful, but very tedious and annoying attempts to force them to accept Western democracy as a gift, which is absolutely unacceptable for those who want to live not under external control, but according to their own rules. and in accordance with their aspirations and interests.
