A player from a Gunma prefecture team in the professional baseball independent league was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman while delivering food as a deliveryman for "Uber Eats."

The person arrested was Hiroto Yasuda (22), a player of "Gunma Diamond Pegasus" in the professional baseball "BC League" who lives in Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture.



According to police, it is suspected that he had been sexually assaulted when he delivered a meal to the home of a teenage woman living in Saitama prefecture as a deliveryman of "Uber Eats" on the 23rd of this month.



The police were proceeding with an investigation after receiving a report from a woman because she forcibly entered the room when handing over the goods at the front door.
