A young boy made headlines around the world when he was shown smoking and his pictures circulated around the world in 2010. Ardi Rizal, from Sumatra, Indonesia, was just a little kid when he appeared to hit his head against the wall if he couldn't smoke, and needed 40 cigarette a day.

According to the British newspaper, "The Daily Mirror", "Ardi" succeeded in quitting smoking and losing weight, by changing his unhealthy diet, and replacing it with fruits and vegetables, according to the "Al-Hurra" website.

Shockingly, Ardi became addicted when his father gave him a cigarette at the age of 18 months.

"It was hard for me to stop, if I wasn't smoking, my mouth gets stinging, and my head feels dizzy," Ardi told CNN.

He added, "I am happy now, I feel more excited, and refreshed in my body."

Concerned about "how" Ardi might harm himself if he can't get a dose of nicotine;

His mother, Diane, sought help from a government specialist in the intensive care unit.

"When Ardi quit smoking for the first time, he was asking for a lot of games," Diane told the Daily Mail.

She added, "He would start hitting his head against the wall... He was crazy, hurting himself if he didn't smoke a cigarette."

Ardi now lives on a healthy diet of fresh fish, fruits and vegetables to help him keep his shape.

And on Twitter, pictures of Ardi spread after the change in his shape since he quit smoking, and he appeared holding his old pictures when he was the youngest smoker in the world.
