The “sleeping thief” fell asleep during the theft and was seized by the owners of the house

In a strange incident, the owners of a house on TV Street in the center of the Egyptian city of Luxor caught a thief who fell asleep during the theft, and found him asleep in bed in one of the rooms of the house.

The Luxor Security Directorate received a signal from the Luxor Department, based on a report from a homeowner, stating that he had caught a 30-year-old thief asleep in his bed after he fell asleep while trying to steal after midnight, according to Al-Akhbar and Al-Masry Al-Youm newspapers.

Immediately, the security forces moved to the location of the report, and were able to arrest the thief and keep him inside the station, revealing his record and information, and a report of the theft was issued, and the accused was presented to the Public Prosecution.
