Around 6:40 am on the 26th, a person who passed by a passenger car colliding with a utility pole on the side of the road on a prefectural road in Sogomachi, Hakusan City, found it and notified the fire department.



According to the police, the person who was driving the car was Ms. Emika Nakajima (60) from Shinbohon, Kanazawa City, who was taken to the hospital but was hit hard on her whole body and was soon confirmed dead.



The site was a straight road with two lanes on each side with good visibility, and at that time there was about 2 cm of snow on the road surface.
