On Friday, December 24, the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) announced the results of a traditional poll about the people and events that were most remembered by the citizens of Russia in the outgoing year.

The survey participants named Konstantin Khabensky as the main Russian actor in 2021.

He appeared in an episode of Major Thunder: The Plague Doctor and starred in the hit TV series An Hour Before Dawn.

In addition, the artist's participation in a number of films has already been announced.

Among them - the series "Indecent Money", the films "Liza and the Magic Model", "The Righteous Man", "World Champion" and others.

The latter, about the duel between the legendary chess players Anatoly Karpov and Viktor Korchnoi, will be released in the near future - on December 30, 2021.

Also, Khabensky was in the spotlight thanks to his theatrical activities: at the end of October it became known that the artist was appointed to the post of artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P.

Chekhov.

The second place in the rating is taken by three actors at once who received the same number of votes (3% each) - Alexander Petrov ("The Man of God"), Sergey Bezrukov ("Bender: Gold of the Empire", "Scientists' Fruits", etc.) and Maria Shukshina.

There were no film projects with the participation of the artist in 2021, but she could be remembered by Russians for her statements on the topic of vaccination against coronavirus infection.

Among the paintings of 2021, they singled out, first of all, Denis Villeneuve's fantastic action film "Dune" and Igor Kopylov's tape "Sky". Murakhtin managed to escape, and Peshkov was shot by terrorists.

The respondents named the projects "Trace", "Vertinsky" and "Secrets of Investigation" as the best serials, which received 3% of the votes each.

The latter has held the attention of viewers for more than 20 years - in 2021, its 21st season premiered.

The crime tape "Sea Devils" got 2% of the votes.

This time "Dog" received 1% along with such projects as "Matchmakers", "Kitchen", "Ambulance", "Vampires of the Middle Lane", "SashaTanya" and others.

Philip Kirkorov lost the championship to Alexander Gradsky, who died on November 28 at the 73rd year of his life.

After that, in the context of the artist's death, the fate of the tenth season of the show "The Voice" was discussed - in it Gradsky acted as one of the mentors.

In mid-December, the general director of Channel One, Konstantin Ernst, said that no one would replace the musician in the project, and TV viewers would make decisions on further participation in the show for his wards.

The Voice itself was recognized as the best TV program of the year.

The top three also include "60 minutes" and "Field of Miracles".

In addition to Gradsky and Kirkorov, the poll participants this year voted for Denis Matsuev (3%), Nikolai Baskov (2%) and Morgenstern (2%), who had already been included in the rating. The latter in 2021 was repeatedly at the center of scandals. The rapper's songs were checked for signs of drug propaganda. The public's attention was also attracted by the artist's statement on the Victory Day - Morgenstern doubted the need to celebrate the holiday. Also in the ranking are Polina Gagarina (3%) and Sergey Lazarev (2%).

Among the writers, Zakhar Prilepin, Viktor Pelevin and Alexander Pushkin won 2% of the votes each.

Based on Prilepin's novel Abode, a drama series with Sergei Bezrukov and Viktor Dobronravov was released in April 2021.

Victor Pelevin released his new novel, Transhumanism Inc., in August, continuing the story told in the book iPhuck-10.

In addition, in 2021, the premiere of Viktor Ginzburg's film "Empire V" based on Pelevin's book Empire V was expected. The release was postponed to March 2022.
