It is a scourge known to the whole world for two years now, but which is not about to stop.
The illegal import of often toxic plastic waste continues to pollute Malaysian air and soil, damaging the health of its inhabitants.
But while Interpol noted a sharp increase in crime related to plastic waste in 2020, outlawed industrialists continue to take advantage of the inability to properly recycle a large part of plastic waste, and have just, over the years , learned to be more discreet.
