Grégory Doucet, the EELV mayor of Lyon, announced on Wednesday on his Facebook account that he had tested positive for Covid-19, "although vaccinated and despite scrupulous respect for barrier gestures".

"I am therefore isolating myself for the next ten days and will continue my activities remotely", added the elected official.

“The virus is circulating extensively.

I know the weariness following these months of restrictions.

But today more than ever, let us continue to remain cautious and to respect the public health rules in force for the good of all ”, he concluded.
